The first womenswear collection by TH/E is inspired by a fictional teenager who:
Welcome to the world of Clarisse McClellan, the missing neighbour in the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. She is a catalyst for seeing the world with fresh eyes, for asking questions both risky and liberating. Why, for example, is the job of a fireman no longer that of putting out fires? Why are they told to start them instead?
This collection captures the essence of our character muse over a twelve month period through a versatile wardrobe composed of paperweight and translucent materials against luxurious crepe de chine and technical silk fabrics. All has been crafted for originality with a rawness filled with Clarisse’s youthful optimism and insouciant non-conformity.
